The event celebrated the remarkable women who continue to make a difference throughout South African rugby – from players’ families and medical professionals to volunteers, administrators, and supporters whose contributions often happen behind the scenes.

The Chris Burger Petro Jackson Players’ Fund has been changing lives for decades by supporting rugby players who have suffered catastrophic spinal cord injuries. Their work embodies the very values we strive to teach every Rugbytot: courage, resilience, kindness, and teamwork.
As South Africa’s leading rugby play programme for children aged 2–7, Rugbytots is proud to support organisations that use rugby as a force for good. Every child who joins Rugbytots becomes part of a wider rugby family built on respect, inclusion, and giving back.
Events like these remind us that while trophies and victories are celebrated, it’s the people who care for others who leave the greatest legacy.
