The Childhood Hobby Shared by 69% of Women Leaders.

I recently re-read an article from last year, “The Childhood Hobby Shared by 69% of Women Leaders.”

The research is pretty striking: nearly 7 in 10 women leaders played sport as kids and for girls, that link is even stronger.

What I love about the Rugbytots programme is that it’s never been about producing “pro rugby players.”

It’s about what sport quietly teaches you early on — confidence, resilience, teamwork, and having a go even when you’re not quite sure you’ll get it right.

At Rugbytots, girls and boys play side by side from the very start.
Same games, encouragement and the same belief that sport is for everyone. Why should it be any different?

Our coaches in the franchise network across South Africa, see that every week kids finding their voices, backing themselves and learning how to be part of a team. Those lessons don’t disappear when the final whistle blows and the well-done stickers get handed out.

For parents, it’s a brilliant foundation.
For our franchise owners, it’s a meaningful business that makes sense, strong demand, real impact and work you can genuinely be proud of.

When girls start sport early, everyone wins.
